Terms of Service

Poke Friends helps Pokémon GO trainers share trainer codes, browse other trainers, chat, and coordinate raid rooms. Poke Friends is an independent fan-made service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Niantic, Inc., The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, or their affiliates. Pokémon GO is a trademark of their respective owners.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country if it is higher, to use the Service. If you are not old enough, you may not create an account or use the Service.

You may use the Service with an anonymous session or an email account. You are responsible for the information you provide, including your trainer name, trainer code, and profile message, and for all activity on your account. Do not share another person's trainer code or impersonate another trainer, Niantic, or Poke Friends staff.

The Service includes content created by users ("User Content"), such as trainer names, profile messages, chat messages, raid room titles and details, and similar text you or others submit. You are solely responsible for your User Content.

You retain any rights you have in your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely to operate, moderate, and improve the Service.

Poke Friends has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. We do not allow harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, violent threats, spam, scams, impersonation, or other abusive behavior. We will remove violating content and suspend or permanently remove the accounts of users who provide it.

This policy applies to all User Content and to all users, regardless of country, language, or how they signed in.

You may not post, share, or send content, or use the Service, in any way that includes:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or abuse of another person
• Hate speech or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics
• Sexual content, especially any sexual content involving minors, or any attempt to sexualize or exploit children
• Graphic violence, glorification of self-harm, or credible threats of violence
• Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or attempts to steal accounts, trainer codes, or personal information
• Impersonation of another trainer, a public figure, Niantic, The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, or Poke Friends
• Illegal activity, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Evasion of filters, blocks, suspensions, or bans, including creating a new account to avoid enforcement

We may also remove content that is off-topic, commercially abusive, or otherwise harmful to the community even if it is not listed above.

We use automated filters and human review to reduce objectionable material. Filters may block or remove names, profile text, chat messages, and similar content. Filters are not perfect. You must still follow these Terms even if a filter does not catch a violation.

You can report objectionable content and abusive users in the app, including from another user's profile and from chat messages. You may also email a report to charliestudio.app@gmail.com.

We review reports within 24 hours of receipt. If we confirm a violation of these Terms or our community standards, we will remove the content and suspend or permanently remove the account that provided it. We may also take other action we consider appropriate, including issuing a warning or limiting features.

You can block abusive users in the app. Blocking immediately hides that user's content from your current view, including their profile, list appearances, and messages where the Service can apply the block. Blocked users should not be able to start a new private chat with you or send you push notifications.

Blocking a user also creates a report for our review so that we can investigate the account and, where appropriate, remove content or take action against the user.

We may remove or hide User Content, warn you, suspend your account, or permanently remove your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or Apple or Google platform rules. We may also refuse access to anyone who tries to bypass a suspension or ban, including by using a new anonymous session or reusing a trainer code.

We keep records of reports, blocks, and enforcement actions as needed to operate the Service and to handle appeals or legal requests. Account action may be immediate when we believe there is a risk of harm.

The Service may offer optional in-app purchases such as Friendship Balls, move-up tickets, premium exposure, or ad removal. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Virtual items have no cash value, are not transferable, and are licensed to you only for use in the Service. Except where required by law or platform policy, purchases are non-refundable.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Service, you also acknowledge that policy.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access to it at any time if we discontinue the product, if we are required to do so by law or a platform provider, or if you violate these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of objectionable content posted by other users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charlie Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost friendships, missed raids, or lost virtual items, arising from your use of the Service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version number is 1.0. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may require you to accept the new version before you continue to use the Service. Continued use after the effective date of an update, or acceptance of a new version in the app, constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
